The past months brought a lot of changes into my life. I’ve ended my breastfeeding journey, spent the first nights away from my son, ended the relationship with the father of my son and am finding myself in a new reality of living on my own again, shared parenthood and feeling stretched over cultural and country borders. I can’t say I particularly like it (yet?). But it also feels like a healthy move and is giving me some energy and time(!) to work on personal projects. I am looking for aligned work and committed to grow my women circles, so I scheduled a photoshoot with the talented Weronika Granica and updated my website - I’d love to hear your feedback!
While my personal life has changed hugely, being in touch with what has been happening in the wider world sometimes felt like an impossible task. I tried to take days off of social media and not to post when I felt overwhelmed, but to also find initiatives of people who are working tirelessly towards better futures and support them with signatures, small donations and shares. I’m especially amazed with the work of My Voice, My Choice.
There also were incredibly beautiful moments. I celebrated two years of moms circles with a family picnic, created magical birthday moments with friends, felt supported by my family and people around me.
Healthy Human Culture Retreat
The Healthy Human Culture Team retreat in Devon, UK was a great place to be amidst all the things moving. Tears, hugs, delicious food and lush nature were involved, as well as an tender exploration of leadership in our team and a lot of thinking and evolving our framework according to Laetitia Nieto's work around power and privilege. You can find a free PDF version of her articles here. Reading her was revealing, when we looked at our models from Target and Agents perspectives and led us to overhaul whole bits.
One of my takeaways is, that a healthy (nervous) system is not simply a calm one, but one that is in touch with the collective reality and has skills to navigate it and shift it towards more health for all.
We’re planning another Online Introduction to Healthy Human Culture in August, see more here.

This is your invitation to slow down—whether you're a mom or not, whether you're thriving or just holding on. Step into a space where you can simply be.
You’re welcome to lie down, move gently, sip tea, or sit in silence. Let your nervous system relax. Let yourself melt a little.
